If you ask 50 cent he's the reason the site is down. According to WorldStar's twitter, 50 did no such thing. Earlier reports were that Homeland Security shut it down. Honestly, according to the innanets Aretha Franklin died a couple of weeks ago so you know what? Don't believe everything you see/hear. The true question is "Do we need a World Star Hip Hop?"There's pro's & con's to what the site brought. Of course, there's way more con's! It did provide many with a popular site to get seen/heard (doesn't mean they weren't garbage!) and according to BigBoi it was getting important news stories to a younger generation..unlike MediaTakeOut. Once you sifted through the utter b.s....there was more BS but whoever shut the site down had their reasons. 50 cent said it wasn't a good representation of black people as a "hole"...yes "hole"! I didn't know 50 cent was a role model now, though. If the site was so horrible, what about other sites that infringe on copyrights and don't portray blacks in a positive manner? And who gives you the right to decide for all black people? Did we elect a separate black president? Not to my knowledge. In addition to claiming to shut down the site, 50 cent posted the phone number of a WSHH employee to contact. When dialed, the mailbox was reported full. Where will the fake models earn their e-stardom now?

According to World Star they have a new site up though... I will not be dropping links for that.
